Utah Gang Drug Related Crimes - The Ongoing Need To Support Public Safety in Utah

As the population of Utah has continued to grow frequently faster than the rest of the nation, the long term overdue need for Public Safety funding has not been received. Calls to request service from EMTS Fire and Police continue funding has been ignored for years. K-9 Units, Adult Probation and Parole face possible layoffs and cutbacks. Jails and Prison staffing continue to be issues. We must as a State prioritize public safety there are no excuses for not doing so!
